TAKING THE EXISTING TIMBER SUSPENDED FLOOR UP.

Started to take the existing timber floor up.
There is some nice floor boarding. These floor boards were supported off floor joists which were supported off some pebble dwalf walls which were laid directly on to the clay sub soil.

Part of the floor boarding removed.

This picture indicates the corner where the underpinning investigation excavation will take place.

Part of the floor joists removed - see pebble dwalf wall's.

Pebble dwalf wall's being removed to prevent any hard spots under the new floor slab and the slab cracking in the future.
